The “Artigiano in Fiera” Craft Fair is an international display and market of crafts which every year brings together exhibitors from all over the world. The event is unique in Italy as regards the number and importance of the exhibitors and, especially, the exceptional attendance on the part of the public. Held each year in early December, it is an ideal opportunity for Christmas shopping, with an unbeatable range of high quality, traditional gifts on offer.
Once again, as always, the Chamber of Commerce of Verbano Cusio Ossola is taking the opportunity to publicise the products which are characteristic of our area, both crafts and food products.
Our participation in the event has been organised in collaboration with Unioncamere, the Association of Italian Chambers of Commerce, and Piedmont Region. There will be a common area hosting the producers of our area, recognisable thanks to personalised displays which will enhance the visibility of the area to the public. The primary aim of the initiative is to present a coordinated exhibition to highlight the quality of craft work in Piedmont.
Our Chamber of Commerce has once again supported local firms participating in the Fair by contributing to the rent of the exhibition space. Ten firms representing the typical crafts of Verbano Cusio Ossola are benefiting from the contribution of the Chamber of Commerce.
Under the Interreg Project “Lake Maggiore, its Valleys, its Flavours”, the Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a stand with the produce of the Consortium for the Protection and Guarantee of the Honey of the VCO, of which the Chamber is a partner. The honey produced by the members of the Consortium will be on sale, with its seal of guarantee, which is proof of the high quality of the honey, produced with the maximum respect for the environment and the bees.
The stand will also offer information and promotional material on our traditional produce and on our area in general, highlighting everything we have to offer – food, scenery, nature and art.
