Programme

Located in the Broletto area, in the heart of the historic centre of Novara, the Giannoni Gallery presents itself as a new art and culture centre. In 2021, the Municipality of Novara inaugurated a new exhibition space, more modern and in line with a contemporary vision, and Soffi di Marmo fits into this perspective.

It is a solo exhibition by the sculptor Valerio Tedeschi, curated by Lorella Giudici and Ilaria Macchi, and inaugurates a project of collaboration among Asilo Bianco, Giannoni Gallery, the Municipality of Novara, and Museo del Paesaggio (The Landscape Museum) of Verbania. It is also a continuation and expansion of the exhibition L'altra pelle, curated by Ilaria Macchi, which took place at Villa Nigra (Miasino, in the province of Novara) from September 23rd to October 29th, and will come to the Museo del Paesaggio of Verbania in the spring.

The exhibition will be held in the 19th-century rooms and will open on Saturday, December 2nd at 5 pm. It will then be open to visitors from December 3rd to February 18th, 2024, from Tuesday to Sunday, from 10 am to 7 pm.
