The exhibition project, devoted to Mimmo Paladino, one of the masters of Italian and international art history, focuses on the pictorial production of the last fifteen years and more of work, with large and medium format paintings. In Cannobio, there will also be some works conceived of in recent months, confirming the utmost vitality of Paladino's research and his extreme ability to build images while always remaining faithful to his own expressive language, but at the same time to trace new itineraries and “shed his skin”. The title of the exhibition - which echoes one of his landmark works - intends to reveal the idea of the present and future enshrined in his works, in which heads, traces, archaic signs are stratified and change direction, constantly re-appearing despite being the subject of persistent metamorphoses and reflections.
