On Sunday March 5th, from 11am to 7pm, the Grand Hotel des Iles Borromées in Stresa will be the prestigious setting for a series of events designed by the organizers to celebrate the world of female wine; with this event, the Hotel will be inaugurating the new wing intended to host exhibitions and conferences.

  • Exhibition area: From 11am to 7pm, there will be tasting tables, from which to begin the exploration of companies with a "feminine soul". In addition to the tasting spots curated by the individual producers, the public will also be able to become familiar with the reality of the National Association of Women of Wine, which will be present with their own special stand.
  • 11am-7pm: "Wine and the Sense of Smell": A new experience offered by Silvia Giordano and Martina Doglio Cotto of Smell Camp, a journey into the experimentation of the senses to discover the world of wine. From color to aroma to flavor, an olfactory training course to train the noses of the participants (including children).
  • 3pm: MasterClass "La Campania al Feminine" (The Feminine Side of the Campania Region): tasting led by Chiara Giorleo, teacher for the AIS (Italian Sommelier Association) and the WSET (Wine and Spirit Education Trust) and President of the Umbrian delegation of Le Donne del Vino (The Women of Wine), who will lead the public on a discovery of eight excellent wines, on a journey through the wineries" driven by women" in the five wine consortiums of Campania, from the coast to the Apennines passing through the territories marked by volcanic soil.

The ticket, which includes admission and unlimited tasting of the products on offer by the women of wine, can be purchased directly at the event venue. The extra activities – olfactory experience and masterclass – have an additional cost.
