Arona sees the return of the Cimento Invernale, the traditional winter plunge into the waters of Lake Maggiore, on Sunday 12th February 2023.

This event has taken place for 45 consecutive years, with this year marking its 45th anniversary.

No special athletic training is required to take part. Just turn up on the morning for a medical examination and….take the plunge!
