Malescorto, the international short film festival of Vigezzo Valley, which distinguishes itself every year for the quality of the short films presented, returns to enrich the summer in Malesco with its twenty-third edition, scheduled from July 24th to 29th, 2023.

After the great success of the short films selected last year (over 1400, received in 2021 and 2022), arriving as always from every corner of the planet, thus showing the internationality of the review), the organization has published the advertisement on www.malescorto.it for the new edition. The figures bear witness to the success of the event and demonstrate the public affection, a public that every year passionately follows the festival held at the gates of the Val Grande National Park.

The program of the 23rd edition, scheduled for the last week of July, will be as rich as always: The heart of Malescorto is where the showings of the short films of the Official Selection occur, every evening at the Malesco Municipal Cinema. Saturday, July 29th, will be the day of the awards, when the winning films will also be shown.

Participation in the competition is free and open to all, without distinction of nationality or residence: directors, production companies, and schools are admitted, all of whom can submit short films of a maximum duration of twenty minutes to the examination committee by February 28th, 2023.
