On the occasion of Planet Earth Week, and thanks to an agreement signed with the Municipality of Mergozzo and the Ecomuseo del Granito, a day of events has been planned for Thursday, October 6th as part of the Interreg MuLM project, the longest museum in the world, which the Val Grande National Park is part of with the new museum of pink marble and granite located in the Albo di Mergozzo hamlet; at the end of this special day, there will be the presentation of the restoration of the former Asylum to make it the seat of the MuMaG (Museum of Marble and of Granite).

The presentation is scheduled in Mergozzo at the headquarters of the Ecomuseo del Granito in the Antica Latteria Sociale at 5 pm with the presentation, as well as of the MuMAG project, also of the new facility for visiting the Ornavasso Quarry, both of which are parts of the Longest Museum in the World that is being created between Italy and Switzerland and will be devoted to slow tourism.

This will be followed by an aperitif based on typical products, offered by the partners of the Interreg project headed by the Consorzio di Bonifica Est Ticino Villoresi - Milan.
