The Ascona-Locarno Run, one of the most important Ticino sporting events in the beautiful landscapes of Ascona and Locarno, after the cancellation of the 2020 edition, returns on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th, October 2021.

The event will take place over the period of two days and the route can be chosen individually on the basis of one's sports training. On Saturday there will be the Kids Run at 10:00 am and the 5 km Sunset Run at 6:45 pm, while on Sunday the 21 km Half Marathon will take place at 9:15 am, the 10 km Walking & Nordic Walking at 9:20 am and the 10 km Run at 11:35 am. The start and finish of the race will be held in the charming Piazza Grande in Locarno.

The Ascona-Locarno Run this year offers all those registered in the races the opportunity to reach Locarno from all over Switzerland for free by public transportation.
