From June to September, enjoy the various species of water lilies thriving in the lakes set along the trail and the sinuous reservoir of water that is home to the Nelumbo Nucifera lotus flower, with its fleshy, fragrant, soft pink petals. Considered a sacred flower by Buddhists and the symbol of India, their waterproof leaves are about 50-60 cm in size, whilst the plants rise from a large, oval tank to reach about one and a half metres in height.
