Programme

IMPORTANT NOTICE! THE START OF THE EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED TO JULY, 22.

Tones on the Stones returns in style with its 15th edition.

Its typical summer events will become for all intents and purposes a real season, articulated in different formats, all located in the Cava Roncino in Oira di Crevoladossola (VB), a former industrial area transformed into a real resident stone theater immersed in the nature of the Alps: TONES Teatro Natura. The goal of this important move is to create the first self-sufficient and zero-impact Italian theater. The key word, therefore, is sustainability.

Here are the highlights of the 2021 program:

The opening event will take place on Thursday 22 July with the highly anticipated concert by Tigran Hamasyan, a planetary piano talent.

In July and August multidisciplinary projects and great international artists find ample space. These projects range from piano music, on through dance and videomapping, to sports stories.

From July 27th to August 1st, the highly appreciated Nextstones, the international festival born in 2014, will be back; in addition to its traditional experimental identity in the field of audiovisual art and electronic music, starting this year it incorporates the spirit of research and investigation into the territory of the Before and After project that was so successful last year.

In this 15th edition, awareness of nature also finds space with the temporary campus awareness by director Gabriele Vacis.

Campo Base, scheduled from September 3rd to 5th with a new format that explores the themes of the relationship between man, nature and mountain culture closes the season.
