The fascinating floating "Lago Maggiore Light Bridge" was officially presented on Tuesday April 20th, 2021.

The idea, conceived of by Antonio Zacchera of Zacchera Hotels, has the ambitious goal of connecting  Isola Bella and l'Isola Pescatori with a floating pathway whose aim is to revive the entire tourist sector that has been so heavily damaged by the health emergency.

The two proposals presented are:

  1. A "light bridge" that goes from one island to another, circling around the rock of Malghera
  2. A "light bridge" that touches the rock with a diagonal tangent on the side facing Pallanza
