The Enchanted Castle is an international festival of puppet theatre founded in 1998. The quality of the shows on offer and the evocative setting of the small village squares, on the shores of Lake Maggiore, in the valleys and in the courtyard of the Castello Visconteo in Locarno, attracts a large audience.

The strengths of the event are its purely popular character and the informal and festive welcome.
