Arona sees the return of the Cimento Invernale, the traditional winter plunge into the waters of Lake Maggiore, on Sunday 11th February 2018.

This event has taken place for 41 consecutive years, with this year marking its 42nd anniversary.

No special athletic training is required to take part. Just turn up on the morning for a medical examination and….take the plunge!
