Description

Have you ever desired to fly?

Now you can try this great sensation in the Intrasca Valley, only few kilometres from the town of Verbania. Here, the company “Terre Alte srl” ran by Mr. Roberto Locarni, has financed and built the “Angel flight”, a disposal composed by a steel cable 1.850 metres long and a harness which, together, enable all the braves to fly at over 1000 metres of altitude.

The departure is from Pian D’Arla, at 1300 meters of altitude and the arrival to the Segletta Alp, three hundred metres further down. During the trip, lasting about 1 minute and 40 seconds, the maximum speed reaches 140 kilometres per hour.

The inauguration of the device, which took place last August 4th, has attracted many tourists and residents, curious and excited to try to fly.

The Zipline in the Intrasca Valley is not the only one in Italy but presents innovative and distinctive elements: it is the first that offers dual type of flight, in vertical and in horizontal with the belly underneath, and presents an innovative braking system based on magnetism.

The cost to live this unforgettable experience will be about 35 euros, including the bus trip that will bring you back to the starting point. There will be no age limit for the braves who will dare to spread their wings but only weight limits: 40-120 kg for the single launch and 60-180 kg for the pair launch.

The zipline will be open in summer and winter and in the future will also be functioning in the evening.
