Description

After the great success of the past season, on Sunday May 24th the project “Librarsi Spalavera”, the books’ open market at the foot of Mount Spalavera, will start again. The inauguration will take place in Colle, Located at 1,200 meters above sea level and not far from the resort of Piancavallo.

In the warm spring and summer days, visitors will be able to immerse themselves in reading in the shade of beech trees, to listen to live concerts and participate in presentations of books and exhibitions, surrounded by an enchanting landscape. All this will be a reality only few steps from the Val Grande National Park.

Conceived and realized by Filippo Terzi and Marco Tosi, “Librarsi Spalavera” is a fascinating, brave and upstream project, which through the books not only intends to raise awareness and enhance the territory of Lake Maggiore, but also wants to reaffirm the centrality of human relationships in this moment of history.

The reopening is scheduled for Sunday, May 24th. In the morning will be inaugurated the book market, whereas in the afternoon will perform the Dirty Dixie Jazz Band. Among the novelties of this year there will be a food market presenting products of the area, such as the Piedmont wine, cheese of Cannero and the jams and honey of Alto Verbano.

If you enjoy walking, you can reach Colle after a nice walk to Mount Spalavera, otherwise you can arrive at destination by car following the road that from Piancavallo reaches Colle.

You are all invited!
