How to get
The Quattro Mori restaurant is located at the bottom of Calcinate del Pesce hill. Tastefully furnished, and with cosy rooms that encourage discretion, the restaurant is a favourite with gourmet customers who demand traditional cuisine with a touch of flair and class.
The establishment’s not-to-be-missed specialities include fresh sea fish dishes like the marvellous “tartare di salmone in salsa di senape” (salmon tartar in mustard sauce), “paté di lavarello con pane nero tostato” (lavarello paté with toasted rye bread), “risotto in forma con asparagi” (risotto in the mould with asparagus) and a delicate “scaloppa di tonno alla greca” (Greek style tuna steak). Another selection from the menu that deserves praise is the refined “gallinelle in guazzetto alla taggiasca” (taggia style chicken stew). Even the desserts are light!
First place, however, goes to the “semifreddo al miele con semi di papavero” (honey semifreddo with poppy seeds).
The wine list is excellent, but the Quattro Mori has a predilection for top class sparkling wines and invites you to drink your toasts with an extraordinary selection of Jacques Selosse champagnes.
