The route:

The track starts before Iselle’s customs, reaches Bogo and Pianezza and continues through the woods up to Chiezzo. Once crossed the road, take the trail going up along tidy lawns and at the end reaches the small town hall square of Trasquera. This trail is also called  “Sentiero del kirsch”, path of kirsch as back in the past in these places kirsch was distilled and commercialized.Of this fine liquor, today remains the memory, the label and the spectacular spring blooms of cherries of Trasquera and Bugliaga. From Trasquera take the mule track that goes along the road (at the head) up to the junction for Fraccia, then follow the road up to Bugliaga where you will have an incomparable view over the great mountains of Simplon. In the meadows at the head of the small church, between end of May and beginning of June, you can admire the wonderful blooms of the alpine tulip (Tulipa australis), a yellow flower with red streaks, very rare species in the south of the Alps and absolutely protected. Along the road you will pass by the Ponte del Diavolo ‘s bridge, built in 1880:  100 meters high with an arch width of 33,30 meters.

Useful information:
