From March 2 to 5 will be held, in McCormick Place in Chicago, the International Home & Housewares Show. The event is organized by the International Housewares Association, that has been giving voice to housewares for 71 years and that gathers about 1700 firms.

The Chamber of Commerce special firm, Fedora, set up a 55 square metres collective stand (stand number S3479) that hosts 10 firms adhering to the trademark "Lago Maggiore Casalinghi": Casalinghi STO, Metallurgica Italo Ottinetti, Metallurgica Motta, Calder, Spezie & co., Legnoart, Top Moka, Cerutti Inox, BB&B Casalinghi and Eppicotispai.

Every year the show attracts more than 60.000 professional coming from more than 100 countries. On the average 20.000 exhibitors coming from all over the world propose hundreds of products for every space of the house and also for exteriors.
The International Home & Housewares Show offers several opportunities to discover new products and to establish new business relations with American firms and several foreign exhibitors, having the chance to discover new business opportunities.

After the Chicago Show, some of the firms will continue to Miami, Florida. Considering the importance of Miami in the American markets, Fedora has in fact organized a business trip.
Thursday, March 7, will be held an introductive seminar on Florida Housewares' market and several business meetings (individual or in group) at the distributors' branches. A targeted action aimed to South Florida's operators will be launched during these meetings, whose organizations has been entrusted by Fedora to the Italy-American Chamber of Commerce of Miami.

The trademark "Lago Maggiore Casalinghi" was born in 2006 to take the opportunity of promoting all the production chain on the international markets in a coordinated way: the goal shared by firms and local institutions is that of appraising the features of culture, traditions, creativity, job and design of local firms and productive chain.

All the initiatives are promoted by the Chamber of Commerce and the Piedmont Region within the project "Promoting excellence, appraising innovation: Lago Maggiore Casalinghi".
