Three days to discover the landscapes of Lake Maggiore with the possibility to attend the representation of the Aida of Giuseppe Verdi in the marble quarries of Crevoladossola.

1st day: Borromeo Islands
late morning arrival in Stresa, check-in in hotel, short walk in the town centre and free time for a light-lunch. In the afternoon departure by private motorboat to the Borromeo Islands. First stop: the “isola Madre” (Mother island) where in rich and lush vegetation live free beautiful peacocks, pheasants and other birds. You will continue with the visit of the “isola Bella” (Beautiful island) with its incredible baroque mansion and Italian-style-garden. Last stop will be the “isola Superiore dei Pescatori” (Fishermen's island) that owes its name to the occupation of its inhabitants. After a romantic walk, an aperitif and a special dinner will be reserved for you in a typical restaurant of the island. After dinner return by private motorboat in Stresa and overnight in hotel.

2nd day: Santa Caterina del Sasso and the Aida
in the morning departure by Public Line Service boat for the visit of the Hermitage of Santa Caterina del Sasso. A stunning feature of this Hermitage is its position over the lake. After the visit return in Stresa for free time! Late afternoon departure to reach Domodossola. Visit of the town and free time for an aperitif or dinner in a nice café or restaurant of the centre. At 8.30 p.m. departure to reach Crevoladossola and after few minutes by car you will be at the quarries to attend the Aida.

3rd day: Lake Orta
late morning departure to reach one the most romantic Italian lakes: Lake Orta. The town of Orta San Giulio will charm you with its historical beauty. Free time for the lunch in a restaurant of the centre. In the afternoon, departure by private motorboat to reach the “isola di San Giulio” (St. Giulio island), a very small island with a magnificent church. Return in Orta San Giulio and free time. Late afternoon departure to come back home.
