With 556 paintings and works ranging from futurism to American and African art, including works by Andy Warhol, de Chirico, Guttuso, and Dalì, on Saturday, September 26th, a new museum hub dedicated to Fanny Usellini will open in Arona.
The “Fanny Usellini” Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art will also be a tribute to the painter Gianfilippo Usellini, who lived the last years of his life in Arona. The museum will also host a dining area called “Il Novecento”, created as an inclusion center where people with disabilities will work.
The inauguration will take place on Saturday, September 26th at 11:00 AM at the former slaughterhouse in Via Trieste in Arona, featuring a work by Picasso, which will remain on display for a few days. The presence of the critic Vittorio Sgarbi is expected at the inauguration.
