The Cammino del Lago Maggiore (Lake Maggiore Path) is a itinerary that touches Lombardy, Switzerland, and Piedmont, drawing a complete ring around Lake Maggiore; the route, studied for over two years through mapping with local inhabitants, has recently been completed. To mark the occasion, the first walking days open to everyone will be organized, starting on April 24th and concluding after 11 stages on May 4th.
The route does not always stay on the shores of the lake but also ventures inland, allowing visitors to discover small villages and communities.
