Once in Bognanco, drive on up to Alpe San Bernardo, where it is possible to park your car and start the excursion on foot.

Take the path on the right, continuing towards Monscera at the crossroads. After crossing the bridge over the Rasigna stream, continue on until you reach the crossroads and then follow the path that leads to Alpe Paione (1780mt).

From the Alpe continue until you reach the first of the three lakes, at an altitude of 2000 meters. Then you proceed, arriving at the second lake, at an altitude of 2145 meters, and finally at the third lake at an altitude of 2270 meters. From there, you can also arrive at the Paione pass, reaching an altitude of 2430mt.
