The Procession of the Machines is an event recurrent of the city of Vercelli during the period Easter. The “Machines” are the great sculptures that represent the various Confraternities of the city, realized in wood, plaster or papier-mâché.
The procession starts from the basilica of Sant’Andrea and itself takes place the evening of the Friday Holy, when the Machines parade for the streets of the center historic, supported by volunteers, Alpini and associations, to then make again return to the Basilica for the Celebration conclusive.
