The marathon of the Lake Maggiore brings every year thousands of athletes to run on a suggestive route of 42km on the shores of the Lake Maggiore, from Arona to Pallanza, crossing the wonders of the Gulf Borromeo. It takes place at the beginnings of November and offers distances for every athlete: besides to the route complete, one can run also the Half Marathon, the 33km or the 10km.
The heart of the event is the LMM Village, on the lakefront of Arona, the point of reference for the over 2000 runners who participate to the race. Here one withdraws the race numbers and reunite the exhibitors.
