The exhibition series “The Stone Tells,” which brings together the Granite Ecomuseum, the Mu.Me. Archaeological Museum of Mergozzo, and the GranUM Museum of Baveno, has reached its tenth edition. For 2026, it is tinged with the warm colors of fire to explore two main thematic threads: “Fire to the Powders” and “Archaeology and Myth.”
Fire to the Powders is the theme of an exhibition and meetings held on the water and along walking paths to tell the history of powder mills and the large mines used for granite extraction in local quarries. Archaeology and Myth are instead at the center of an original art exhibition in dialogue with archaeological finds from the territory and a series of meetings.
