The Stranociada, the Carnival of Locarno, returns to animate the city from January 29 to February 1, 2026.
The most anticipated part of the event consists of the two nights of celebration in the Old Town of Locarno, which will take place on Friday, January 30, and Saturday, January 31.
On Sunday, February 1, there will be the Strarisotada, the popular risotto feast, which will be held in Piazza Grande in Locarno.
