The Committee of the Walser Community of Macugnaga invites alpine and mountain culture enthusiasts and all curious people to the usual appointment with alpine and Walser craftsmanship which will be held in Macugnaga on July 3, 4 and 5, 2026: the San Bernardo Fair.
The Fair will open its doors on the afternoon of Friday, July 3, with the opening of the XXIII Extemporaneous Wood Carving Competition.
On Saturday, July 4, the fair will be open to the public with over 50 craft stalls. The Exhibition Market will feature the display of rigorously selected Walser and alpine craft products: wood and stone sculptures, ceramics, fabrics and embroidery, woven baskets, wrought iron, work tools.
Many cultural events are side events to the Fair.
