On August 1st, we return to racing beneath the highest wall in Europe. The new edition of the MEHT (Monterosa Est Himalayan Trail), one of the toughest races for enthusiasts of the genre, will kick off in Macugnaga. On Sunday, August 2nd, the Mini Trail will take place.
The race will be divided into 4 formats: 58, 39, 21, and 13 kilometers. For the occasion, the MEHT Village will be opened; it will be the nerve center of the entire event, where participants can collect their race bibs and exchange opinions with other runners and professionals
Running this trail will also allow you to come into contact with the centuries-old tradition of Macugnaga, also known as “The Pearl of the Rosa,” which is evidenced by the architecture of the houses, the costumes, the Titsch language (a dialect spoken by some local elders), and more.
