As part of the 2026 edition of the “Un lago di… vino” exhibition, on Friday, September 25th, at 8:45 PM, in the council hall of Angera, the usual opening evening of the “Un lago di… vino” event, which has now become a traditional appointment of the Angera September, will take place, organized by the Department of Culture of the Municipality of Angera, with the collaboration of the Civic Archaeological Museum. This year the title of the evening is “From earth to glass”, aiming to emphasize the journey of wine, starting from the cultivation of the vine up to its consumption. The event will feature a series of three informative lectures.
At the end of the evening, participants will be offered a guided tasting of I.G.T. Ronchi Varesini wines, curated by the producers of the Associazione Viticoltori Varesini, with the collaboration of A.I.S. (Italian Sommelier Association) and O.N.A.V. (National Organization of Wine Tasters), who will present some of the excellences of our wine production. Admission to the evening is free, information at 0331930168.
On Saturday, September 26th, however, as part of the same exhibition, a vineyard concert with the group Seven Seas Orchestra will take place in the unusual and scenic setting of the vineyards of Azienda Agricola Cascina Piano -via Valcastellana- (in case of bad weather council hall). Admission is free, but reservation is mandatory at 0331931915 or at the email address deskinfopoint@comune.angera.it
The event location will also be reachable with the guided walk through the vineyards starting at 3:30 PM from the Civic Archaeological Museum of Angera. In this case too, participation is free and reservation is mandatory, again at 0331931915 or via email at deskinfopoint@comune.angera.it. Participants of the walk are advised to wear clothing suitable for woodland hiking.
The concert will be followed by a tasting of I.G.T. Ronchi Varesini wines, offered by Cascina Piano.
In case of bad weather, the concert will take place in the council hall of Angera.
