The Smuggler’s Trekking Trail is an initiative of Insubrica Historica and Antenna Ticinese dei Verbanisti which aims at enhancing the value of the trail near the Locarno border (Brissago) used during the period 1940-1950 for the smuggling of goods, but also by partisans and by civilian and Jewish refugees fleeing to Switzerland.

Six 3-hour excursions are suggested for 2022, during the months between July and October 2022.
