Destinations

To enjoy unspoiled nature, breathtaking landscapes, and green valleys crossed by crystal clear streams, simply head to Valsesia. Varallo with its Sacro Monte (Sacred Mountain) – a UNESCO World Heritage Site – and Alagna Valsesia, a charming village at the foot of Monte Rosa, are must-see destinations for lovers of summer and winter sports. The magnificent natural scenery protected by the Alta Valsesia Natural Park offers visitors wonderful views and a sense of peace and harmony. Water sports enthusiasts will also find the Sesia River ideal for rafting, kayaking, hydrospeed, and canyoning from April to late September. An incredible variety of museums and historic villages await you in Bassa Valsesia, dotted with parish churches, sanctuaries, and churches that house precious works of art. One of the most interesting places in the Lower Valsesia is Mount Fenera, which rises near Borgosesia and Valduggia. The mountain, part of the natural park of the same name, is crisscrossed by numerous trails and is rich in spectacular karst caves.
