Cossato is an Italian municipality in the province of Biella, in northern Piedmont. It is the second largest in terms of population and economic importance, with Roman origins and a history linked to textile industrialization. The territory is hilly and the center extends along the former Biella-Gattinara state road, with numerous hamlets scattered across the surrounding hills.
