Q Travel: the quality mark for tourism and travel agencies.
Q Travel is the quality mark for tourism and travel agencies supported by the Verbano Cusio Ossola Chamber of Commerce with the aim of increasing, certifying and promoting the excellent behaviour and practices of travel agencies operating in the VCO province.
The purpose of this initiative is to encourage a qualitative development of the companies and of the area and to ensure market transparency and consumers protection.
Q travel is a instrument of guarantee, recognition and promotion of virtuous behaviour by travel agencies. It certifies the quality of the services offered, the reliability to the consumer and the professional skills of companies and firm organisations, oriented to a continuous improvement and to the maximisation of customer satisfaction.
The certification regulation, drafted by associations and tourism operators, is based on 10 quality rules: contract transparency; fast and complete supply of information; focused and diversified offer of services; ability to answer to customer's needs; skilled and dedicated staff; integrated management of travelling problems are some of the evaluation criteria.
