On Sunday 21st June, to mark the 13th edition of the Feast of SS. Trinità del Sacro Monte di Ghiffa the event Un Viaggio nel tempo has been scheduled. This event is, in every sense, an itinerary in order to discover customs, habits and traditions of past times.

The entire day will be made up of events linked to the past, starting at 2pm at the Celtic site with archery demonstrations with arts and trades of the iron age. Again at the Celtic site a display of archaeological reproductions such as ceramics, jewels and weapons and the secrets of ancient production techniques and the use of everyday objects will be revealed.

Two real musts are the historic archery course and the loom weaving course. At 3pm the storytelling event “Di chioma rossa: storie di donne e dee coraggiose”[red-head: stories of brave women and goddesses, directed by actress Silvia Iannazzo.

Celtic music will be protagonist at 5.30pm with the female group Cantlos, whereas at 6.30 there will be room for a taste of the past with “Assaggi storici” (historic food tasting), offering mead, dried fruit, bread and cheese all of celtic origin.
