
Casa Museo della Montagna Description: The Casa Museo reproduces a typical XIX century house and has three rooms: the kitchen, the bedroom and a cellar. You can also look at the traditional dresses, some agriculture and hunting tools .
Museo di Scienze della Terra Ubaldo Baroli Description: The mineral section shows precious and significant specimens, important for the scientific point of the Ossola and Mottarone area. On the path, you can use some microscopes to look better this minerals. In the section titled to Ubaldo Baroli you can see some unusual stone from the Ticino river, modelled by the water erosion effect. Other services: The Studies Centre also offers a café, a conference room, a teaching room, a library and a research lab.
Casa Forte Formazza Description: This little museum of Ethnography takes place in a XVI century building and shows typical furniture and tools of the Walser culture.During the summer season, the museum puts up temporary expositions about mountain and Walser tradition.
Museo Mineralogico di Premia Description: This minerals collection, of Don Giovanni Bonomi, takes place in an historical building in the centre of Premia. Today, this collection includes 3333 specimen, come from the Ossola, Antigorio and Formazza Valley. Guided tours and excursions to Orridi di Uriezzo.
