Description: Founded in 1939 like the Museum of the National Umbrella-Makers Association, it now takes place in a building with an original plant: it resembles to three opened umbrellas. This collection includes about 1500 pieces, among umbrellas, parasols, grips and beats, that represent the mode and taste evolution, from the second half on XVIII century until today.

Description: The House of Resistance is closed to the 1944 memory place, where 42 partisans were killed by the Fascist forces. The museum preserves photos and documents about the Resistance Movement, in particular from the Verbano-Cusio-Ossola area. From 2004 there's also a multimedia Memory Gallery, with sounds and images.
