The second edition of the Gente di Lago e Fiume event will take place on 6th-7th October on Isola dei Pescatori.

Marco Sacco, Michelin starred chef of Piccolo Lago di Mergozzo (VB) and president of Associazione Gente di Lago e di Fiume, confirmed the 6th and 7th October dates for the second edition of the Lake and River People event, once again against the splendid backdrop of Lake Maggiore’s Isola dei Pescatori.

On Sunday 6th and Monday 7th October the island’s small town will once again come to life to celebrate an idea, a vision which also motivated the setting up of the association in June 2018: safeguarding and promoting its extraordinary freshwater heritage.

Some dates will be organised over the coming months as a preview of these two great days on Isola dei Pescatori, to demonstrate with facts the bond between the area and its top quality products with freshwater.
