The Historian Gallery in Gavirate (VA) will host an exhibition of work by Giorgio De Chirico entitled Silenzio Metafisico (Metaphysical Silence), from 16th November 2018 to 8th September 2019.

The exhibition takes us on a journey of discovery into the enigma, the silence of the town squares, the symbol of the mannequins, amidst impetuous horses linked to classical myths, in metaphysical spaces evoking conflicting emotions and into the apocalyptic route, which the hand of the great artist Giorgio de Chirico transformed into a whirlwind of mystical figures, divine punishments and the yearning for redemption before it is too late.
