Music of all types will be an important common thread in the 2017 summer season in Santa Maria Maggiore: from dance through to classical, electronic, pop, ballroom and folk music.
One of the highlights will be the pre and post-dinner evenings with Musica da Bere, a festival that is celebrating its twelfth edition this year.
Some of the most eagerly-awaited concerts due to be held during this two-month long festival, running from 8th July to 26th August, include soundtracks performed by the musicians of Turin’s Orchestra Nazionale della RAI and other prestigious orchestras on 22nd July and the master of the accordion Sergio Scappini on 12th August.
