"Musica in quota" is one of the most popular summer concert tours held in the Alps, offering some truly special events.

Twelve free events are planned from now through to September: excursions with expert hiking guides, culminating in a live music performance. Hikers are rewarded with top quality live music when they reach their destination, following a variety of routes that will be popular with both experienced hikers and enthusiastic novices.

After the inaugural evening, scheduled for 12th May at the Teatro Galletti theatre in Domodossola, the festival will continue from June to September with eleven events set in locations ranging from Pian d'Arla in the Val Grande National Park to the grand finale in September, which will be held in the wonderful Alpe Veglia basin at an altitude of almost 2,000 metres.
