Easter Monday, 17th April, sees the return of a traditional event that has grown over the years, attracting an increasing number of little “egg hunters”.
For some years now, every Easter Monday, the town centre of Santa Maria Maggiore provides an original setting for a wonderful game: dozens of eggs placed in hidden corners of the town, more than three hundred children, presents for all and a special prize for the finder of the special golden egg.
This fun, free game called “S…cova l’ova” is for children up to 12 years old, who, accompanied by their parents, will have the opportunity to take part in a proper Easter egg hunt.
