Description

With the arrival of spring, the season of gardens and blooms on Lake Maggiore begins.

And so Villa Taranto reopens its doors to the public: from March 12, 2020, visitors can once again admire the approximately 20,000 species of plants and flowers from all over the world that live in the 16 acres of the botanical gardens.

The Gardens, considered among the 18 most extraordinary in the world, are basically English style, although there are Italian inspirations as statues, fountains, ponds and terraces.

Villa Taranto and its gardens are ready to host a season full of events, from the Tulip Festival to the very famous Dahlia Exhibition: a new opportunity to visit it for the first time or to return to admire the splendor of its plants and its flowers.

For more information on opening hours and entrance fees, you can visit the official website of the Botanical Gardens of Villa Taranto.
