6th edition of the Lake Maggiore Marathon, one of the most scenic running competition in the world.
Every year hundreds of Italian and foreign athletes gather to run along the evocative Lake Maggiore's banks, in front of the beautiful Borromean Islands.
The event is organised under the aegis of IAAF (International Association of Athletics Federations), AIMSO (Association of International Marathons and Distance Races) and FIDAL (Italian Athletics Federation) and it is divided in four formats:
- 42 km - departure at 9.00 am - start and arrival in Verbania Pallanza.
- 21 km - departure at 9.00 am - start in Verbania Pallanza and arrival in Stresa.
- 33 km - departure at 9.30 am - start and arrival in Verbania Pallanza.
- 10 km - departure at 9.30 am - start and arrival in Verbania Pallanza.
Registrations can be done on-line until October 31st.
