The StraVerbania, running race now in its 34th edition, will take place on Sunday, May 29 in the picturesque setting of Lake Maggiore, in Pallanza.
The event actually contains 5 running races:
The out-and-out StraVerbania has a length of 10 km. The race, which is reserved to Fidal members and valid for the provincial championship of the VCO will start at 8:50 in Pallanza, Verbania.
Registration is open until May 26 with a registration fee of € 7.00, while the morning of the race the fee will be € 10,00.
There will then be a non-competitive walk of 10 km, open to all, with departure at 9:00 am. The entry fee is € 3.00; you can sign up to half an hour before departure.
For runners and walkers lovers of four-legged friends, the Dog Running will start at 11:00 am with a non-competitive route of 2.5 km, to be made in the company of their family and their pets. The cost of this walk is € 3.00.
The organization has also thought about the less experienced runners: the Minigiro, dedicated to children and young people aged 7 to 14 years, will start at 11 am. The registration fee is € 2.00.
The 2016 edition also includes the Children’s Walk with a distance of 2.5 km for children of nursery and kindergarten. The registration fee is € 3.00; the departure is scheduled for 11:00 am.
