Everything is ready for the 22nd edition of the Potato's Festival, which will start on August 28th in Montecrestese, at the heart of the Ossola Valley. During the festival, that will last four days, until August 31st, cold cuts, potatoes gnocchi, grilled meat, homemade cakes and much more traditional food will be served!
This year, on the occasion of EXPO Milano 2015, the festival’s organisers have done a greater effort: they have decided to exclusively use km 0 potatoes to prepare the dishes. In collaboration with the agricultural business Francini di Druogno, during the past months the organisers have been taking care of the surrounding territories without using any harmful chemical product for the land. By doing so, it has been possible to collect a sufficient number of tubers required for the performance of the Festival.
But the Potato's festival is not only about food but also music, dances, karaoke, cabaret and handcrafts markets.
