Food it's the fil rouge of two important events which will involve the areas of Lake Maggiore and Lake Orta throughout the months of September and October.
The first one, housed by the Grand Hotel Des Iles Borromées of Stresa, will deal with the topic of nutrition with a tendency to sustainability and the environment: the convention Food and Health: from science to the table scheduled for Friday, September 3, 2014, wants to investigate how cuisine could be able to contribute to produce and maintain our well-being. A lot of eminent guests are participating to the event, each one with their own contribution to the debate.
The second initiative, organized by the Association Asilo Bianco of Ameno, is taking place on Lake Orta from September 12 to October 25: museums, public spaces and restaurants are involved in Gusta il Lago d’Orta, the event that aims to merge art with food.
Therefore, food becomes not only a central topic for the scientific debate, but also a means to “taste” the beauties of the area.
