Built in 1847 by Bernardino Branca, the inventor of Fernet Branca liqueur, the villa now belongs to Verbania town council.

It is frequently used to host art exhibitions and events of all kinds.

Currently Villa Giulia and its park are used for conferences, concerts, cultural events or exhibitions.
