The water of health

Thermal baths


In a place surrounded by water "the water of health" cannot be missed, that of the thermal baths and of sources of mineral water which have always been characteristic of the area. Starting from Crodo, where its water need no introduction, there are many resorts offering "water treatments".

Trasquera " with hot water deriving from the same spring as Leukerbad (CH) -, Craveggia and Premia to name but a few. It is Premia that offers itself as a modern and efficient thermal centre, with infrastructures able to host at least 150 people a day.
But in these areas have thermal baths " so to speak " in their blood: Cannobio, where today the low mineral source of the water Carlina is a haven to many thanks to the curative qualities in the water. Already in 1867 it possessed a notable thermal centre visited by famous people of the age.

In addition the ochre colour of the arsenical - ferruginous water of Vanzone or the triple offer of the drinking water of Bognanco, or the double offer of Malesco with the sources "Santa Lucia" and "la fonte Alpia".
Between the water of the lake and that of the springs, you are spoilt for choice.
