4000 meters
A ring of mountains enclose the Lake Maggiore basin. From gentle and green hills, the scenery changes to immaculate peaks at over 4000m in the space of a mere 50km.
Monte Rosa, the second highest mountain in Europe with its 4633 metres in height, dominates this incredible panorama. There are many paths, declared standard, which present low difficulty levels and, if accompanied by an Alpine guide and with a little athletic preparation, present the opportunity to enter this world above 4000, dominated by perpetual snow and glaciers.
Rocky slopes and verticals in Himalayan style offer unforgettable climbs and ascents in perfect Alpine style.
