Following last year's success the date with the flavours of the territory returns with Troterellando, a food and wine journey in search of fresh water fish and typical produce from the Verbano Cusio Ossola area. As a matter of fact, Troterellando, promoted by Piccoli Alberghi Tipici (small local Hotelier's Association), can be considered a food and wine review which finely combines river and stream fish with other products from the land. From 12th April to 1st June 2008 there will be twelve unmissable appointments, twelve evenings in search of fine flavours and typical produce. A tour of flavours that will also take us to some of the most beautiful locations in Ossola and Verbano, from Macugnaga to Cambiasca, passing through Valle Vigezzo, Val Bognanco, Valle Antigorio and Valle Formazza. In a number of characteristic restaurants even the fussiest palates will appreciate local lake, river and stream fish dishes, together with wine, cheese, jams and bread which will all bring out the best of this area's flavours.In addition to the taste of the territory, fish experts will also attend each event and providing information and advice of a scientific and cultural nature on the theme.
